There are several advantages of using steel for roof structures instead of wood and concrete. First of all due easier isolation steel constructions are more preferable. Also steel roofs provide larger volumes. It is easier to do fixes and amendments to steel roof systems. The roof can be assemblied in diverse weather conditions which reduces the work time.

RAPID ASSEMBLY

Since many times elements are prepared in the job shop the only thing done on the field is assembly. Scrap levels are low therefore costs are lower. If a system is unassembled, then it can be re-assembled at another site without loss. Steel roofs can also be used over large spaces, where other material would not have been useful.
